  • Also, I have learned to produce and record in the radio studio as I can now record on my own without having someone with me or a teacher showing me what the different buttons are.

  • One experience I have had it working with the photographers at Leicester fashion week this year. As I helped out with taking photos and designing.

I believe that my strongest skill is work and personal skills. Such as, time management as I believe I can always complete my work on time and if I have a lot of work or jobs to do, I feel I am quite good at time managing my work. I do this by planning out when to complete my work and planning when it needs to be done by, this helps a lot as it keeps me more organised and helps to get the work done on time. Also another one of my strongest strengths would be personal skills such as determination. I believe this is my strongest skill as I have the determination to do well in different challenges that I face. This is not only in the work place such as jobs but in college as well. Such as, having determination to do well in assignments and course work and be determined to get the best that I can. By being determined it gives me a better chance when facing other challenges and reaching the best in what you are doing.

CV

I would consider myself a hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated person; who is completely committed to everything I do. I enjoy working independently, however I also enjoy working with others as part of a team. I am very respectful of other people’s opinions and feel I work well under pressure and always try my best.

In 2017 I completed my GCSE’S and came out with four B’s, one A and five C’s. I am currently studding a level three Extended Diploma in Creative Media. I am determined to work very hard and achieve excellent results this year, so I will be able to go on to further things. Throughout my time at my High School and Collage, my attendance and punctuality have always been of a high standard, the school has recognized this and I have been awarded numerous certificates on my subjects and attendance.

At school, I took part in ‘sports leaders’; this consisted of teaching primary school children different sports games, activities and techniques. This has had a huge impact on my confidence and I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of it. I have been a ‘sports captain representative’ for my house. To gain this role, I had to complete against several other students, write about why I was best suited to the role and have an interview. My role included organising sports events and extra activities. It was important that I listened to other people’s opinions and provided feedback to staff representatives where we discussed upcoming events and shared ideas as a team.

I am a keen sports person myself and have represented my school and college at netball, hockey, cross country and athletics.

For the past three years, I have been an active and dedicated member of Saffron Athletics club and more recently Rugby and Northampton Athletics club where I train and compete in various cross country and track races.

My biggest achievement to date has been getting selected for English schools every year since I competed competitively and getting into the Leicestershire Inter counties team and Leicestershire and Rutland cross-country teams. Also, I enjoy competing in team events for Rugby and Northampton AC and reaching the GB track finals in September 18.

In September 2017, I started my first part-time job at the Nike store – Rugby for three months and New Look for three months in 2019. This involved managing stock, working on the shop floor, serving and liaising with customers and working as part of a dedicated team. These really helped me gain customer experience and also being part of a team and working together.

In addition, I recently took part in some work experience with ‘Leicester fashion week’. For this I worked with professional photographers around Leicester and helped them out with taking photographs and videos. This helped me gain huge experience working in the media industry. Furthermore, I have recently had a week of work experience in a graphic design company. For this I worked with the graphic designers of the company and worked alongside them and they gave me an insight of what they do. I have gained a lot of experience from this as it has given me more confidence to try new things and work with different people.

I hope to hear back from you soon.

Kind regards,

Rhea Cooper
