Work Experience
In February 2019 i went out my way to gain some work experience at a graphic design company called 'Forest Rock'. This company create websites for any electronic devices and promote their websites to other companies so they buy their product. I gained a huge amount of experience with this company as i learned how to use different software and learned new graphic design skills that can help me in the future. One of my tasks that day was to help one of the graphic designers with the website of the company. the picture above is the finished product that i helped to create. From going out my comfort zone and trying new things its help me to gain more skills and improve my graphic design skills.
In November 2018, i did some work experience with Leicester fashion week. I applied to take part in this as i wanted to widen my experience in the media industry and my skills. From this opportunity I got to work along side professional photographers and learn about different angles, settings on the cameras and different lighting. I have defiantly gained a lot from working with Leicester fashion week and i would defiantly consider working with them again. From this, I was asked to take photos for the official Leicester fashion week run way and took some of my own photos myself (as seen above) using all the skills i learnt before.
