Other Graphic Design Work!

For this piece of Graphic design work we where asked to produce a double page spread on exercise.

For this product, the main place where I believe it will be most effective is the doctors. This is because, everyone sits at the doctors and waits before they are called in. so it is a good idea to have this product advertised here as it is about mental and physical health and how easy exercise can help it. Also, as it does have some key information about how much exercise you should do a day, it is a good idea to have it advertised in the gym. As then people will get some handy information about injury’s and exercise which is key to them. I believe the target audience will be interested in the style of texts and images as I have linked it to exercise so they will be able to get what it is about from them. My title is called ‘Stride in’ I have called it this because, it links with exercise, but it is also encouraging people to ‘come in’ and join. it is motivational as it is saying to come and join in with exercise or stride your way to success. For the images, I have used a running track. This is because, I thought it would be relevant to the topic but also as a running track has a start and a Finnish, I thought it is a good idea to promote exercise like this. This is because I am trying to motivate people to start exercise. So, at the start of starting exercise they will be on the start line of the track and when they have reached their goal they will be at the Finnish line.

My radio show will be about exercise and how it can benefit physical and mental health. Although it is filled with a lot of information such as, how much you should exercise a week, if an individual can do too much a week and also what mental and physical benefits can you get from exercise. But also, interviews with athletes about their own experiences and also songs that are proven to motivate you while you’re doing exercise. It will include an enthusiastic presenter as you are talking about exercise so you want it to be energetic to the audience who are listening. Also, there will be an athlete who I will be interviewing and also other interviews with athletes about mental and physical health. There is no specific genre for this type of product being promoted. This is because, I wanted to have a wider range of audience so I have made it assessable for any genre. The main people that will star in this is the presenter who will be me Rhea Cooper, an interview with an athlete from Rugby and Northampton athletic track and a guest Maryam.

The structure of this show will start with the presenter introducing themselves and what todays show will be about, and what it will consist off as this will inform the audience so they know what they are listening to. It will then lead to a song to do with exercise, followed by the presenter talking about mental and physical health. This will then lead to the interview with an athlete who has experienced this. The presenter will then lead onto talking about how much exercise you should do a week and if too much exercise is a thing and what harm it can do to you, followed by an interview with an athlete talking about how much exercise they do a week and what affects they get from this. Finally, the presenter will talk about motivation which will lead to the end of the show with a song that can motivate you while you’re exercising.
